		<description>Hmm... I didn't have to change the fill opacity on mine.  Are you applying the transparent gradient to the intersected shape on the top layer?  (I think the intersecting shape can be the trickiest part.)  As long as the white area of the gradient is on the top layer, you should get the sheen over the bottom layer.</description>

		<description>I usually do this via the old pixel method, so this is great for re-editing. However, I've just quickly tried it and the bit where you tell me to 'Duplicate the shape layer and make sure you’re on the top layer.' is confusing.

When you apply transparent gradient to this duplicated shape later on in the excercise, it still isn't transparent, (as the shape is solid colour, with a transparent gradient over the top off it).
 
In order for the transparent 'sheen' gradient to work you need to set the 'fill' on the duplicated shape to 0%.

Did anyone else have this problemo, or am I missing trick?</description>
